Whittet Higgins AN-24 Retaining NutThe Whittet Higgins N AN series is an inch dimension bearing locknut machined from carbon steel and matched with W series lockwashers to secure, lock, and retain bearings and power transmission assemblies on a threaded shaft. The lockwasher seats against the nut and a tab bends into one of the nut's external slots, delivering numerous locking positions for accurate angular positioning while preventing loosening from vibration, shock, and torque.

The Whittet-Higgins N/AN series is an inch-dimension bearing locknut machined from carbon steel and matched with W series lockwashers to secure, lock, and retain bearings and power transmission assemblies on a threaded shaft. The lockwasher seats against the nut and a tab bends into one of the nut's external slots, delivering numerous locking positions for accurate angular positioning while preventing loosening from vibration, shock, and torque. Installation requires no special tools, the nut is effective on both soft and hardened shafts, and it is interchangeable with the TAN series. The N/AN line meets and exceeds ANSI / ABMA 8.2-1999, carries a 300°F maximum operating temperature rating, and is manufactured in the USA and RoHS compliant.

It's Working

I like how it softens and protect hair. I am using sparingly on my scalp and have not used enough to see hair growth yet. I have had it for a month but do not use daily. I am growing my grey hair out and I have noticed that some of the white hairs are more salt and pepper now so it naturally darkens hair. My friend who told me about the product has been using it longer and her grey hairs are pretty much unnoticed by the natural darkening effect, blending enough to give her a light brown look. I have extremely fine thin fragile hair so I leave it on instead of rinsing or washing it out per instructions, that is another reason I do not use daily on hair and scalp. So far I have not had any negative side effects by using sparingly and leaving in until weekly wash. There is a strong smokey smell but not overwhelming for me and the scent dicipates within an hour or less.so I am not bothered by it. After using product on my hair, I rub a little on my nails & cuticles. It appears to help, as my cuticles are a lot healthier now.

The product feels great on the skin and moisturizes well. Although, don't be fooled by the smokey coffee detail. I'm an avid expresso bean grinder and drinker, this is no coffee. Smells like strong chain smokers favorite corner of the house on a stressful day. Imagine ash trays and Jojoba blended. Now that that's explained, it genuinely feels great on the skin/beard/scalp. So far nothing amazing

So I’ve been using for a couple of weeks now and I haven’t noticed any difference. I am going to continue on. I don’t know if it takes time for it to actually show some results. I will say two things about it. It comes solid for 12 my jar cracked and broken And it’s non-returnable so I just have to deal with it so that’s unfortunate after paying $20 second of all it is a solid mass so you have to put it in your hands and kind of warm it up for it to become any sort of an oil and I wouldn’t even consider it an oil at that it’s more of like a cream once you warm it up in your hands, but it doesn’t make your hair greasy. I use a small amount I would think that the jar would last a long time given that you don’t need a lot to get through to your scalp unfortunately, with my jar being cracked, I don’t know how that’s gonna affect the longevity of the product And it does have a smell think of burnt coffee beans that will dissipate after about an hour to an hour and a half after putting it on, but if you’re not putting it on, I’m just going to bed. It might be become an issue. I’m gonna wait it out. I hope I do see results from doing this but again so far nothing.
